Secreted by bees to feed exclusively their queen, royal jelly is a hive product made mainly of water, protein, carbohydrates and lipids, with B vitamins including B5, trace elements and acetylcholine. It is taken pure, in the morning on an empty stomach, melted under the tongue.
For anyone who enjoys hive products and would like to make them part of their morning routine, as a 1 to 3 month course, once or several times a year. For people who prefer products from organic farming and pure royal jelly, without added honey. Not suitable for people allergic to hive products.
In a hive, the queen and the workers hatch from identical eggs. What sets them apart is their food. For their first three days, all the larvae receive royal jelly, secreted by the glands of young nurse bees. Then the future workers move on to a mixture of honey and pollen. Only the larva destined to become queen continues to receive it, and she will be fed on it all her life.
The result is spectacular: the queen is larger than the workers, she lays up to nearly 2,000 eggs a day at the height of the season, and she can live for several years, whereas a summer worker lives about six weeks.

Royal jelly is not harvested like honey. The beekeeper places very young larvae in cups shaped like queen cells, then entrusts them to a colony deprived of its queen, which immediately starts feeding them abundantly. Three days later, the beekeeper collects the jelly cell by cell, with a spatula.
Each cell contains only a few hundred milligrams. A 25 g jar therefore represents the contents of around a hundred queen cells, which explains the rarity and the price of this product.

Fresh royal jelly is a living substance, creamy and pearly, with a tangy, slightly sharp taste. It consists mainly of water, proteins, sugars and lipids, including a fatty acid found nowhere else in nature: 10-HDA. Its content is in fact used as a quality benchmark: the international standard ISO 12824 sets a minimum of 1.4% for fresh royal jelly.
To preserve its qualities, it is kept in the refrigerator, between 2 and 5 °C, away from light, and should be consumed within a month of opening the jar.
Pure Organic Royal Jelly is for adults who wish to discover this hive product in its most authentic form: fresh, pure and organic.
Traditionally, it is taken in the morning on an empty stomach, letting one measuring spoon (about 1 g) melt under the tongue. It is often taken as a course of 1 to 3 months, which can be repeated. If you find its tangy taste surprising, our Royal Jelly with Honey offers a milder version.

Take one measuring spoon (about 1 g) every morning on an empty stomach and let it melt under the tongue. Use for periods of 1 to 3 months, renewable: a 25 g jar lasts about 25 days, and a 3-month course needs about 4 jars. Store in the refrigerator, away from light; under these conditions, Pure Organic Royal Jelly retains all its qualities for at least one month. Not suitable for people allergic to hive products. Keep out of reach of young children. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Food supplements are not a substitute for a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle.
