Each 4-capsule dose combines 880 mg of marine collagen (peptides), 571 mg of glucosamine and 221 mg of meadowsweet, completed with copper (15.5% NRV) and manganese (16.8% NRV). Collagen is the main structural protein of tendons, ligaments and bones; glucosamine is a natural component of cartilage. Copper and manganese round out the formula for connective tissue.

Meadowsweet (Filipendula ulmaria) reigns over damp meadows and the banks of streams, in the lowlands as in the mountains. It can be recognised from afar by its frothy clusters of creamy white flowers, which give off a sweet scent of honey and almond in summer.
Its English name, meadowsweet, preserves the trace of an ancient use: it was used to flavour mead, the honey wine of the ancient Anglo-Saxons. In the Middle Ages, it was strewn on the floors of houses to perfume the rooms.
Chondrolagen Forte contains 221 mg per daily dose.
This is the tip that makes the most difference. Vitamin C contributes to normal collagen formation for the normal function of bones and cartilage; this is an officially recognised claim.
So take your capsules with a meal that includes a source of vitamin C: a glass of orange juice, a kiwi, a few strawberries, a pepper. Collagen provides the building blocks; vitamin C allows the body to assemble them.
