An instant, contactless and hygienic measurement, more comfortable than a conventional measurement. The illuminated screen can be read at night and its colour code gives an indication at a glance. As it does not touch the skin, it passes easily from one person to the next.
Clear the forehead (hair, hat, perspiration), hold the thermometer 3-5 cm from the centre of the forehead and press once; the temperature is displayed instantly. After being out in the cold or heat, wait a few minutes at room temperature before measuring. Store the device in a dry place and replace the batteries when they run down.
Every body emits infrared radiation that depends on its temperature. The sensor measures this radiation at the surface of the forehead and converts it into body temperature, without touching the skin. The surface temperature of the forehead varies with the surroundings (cold, heat, perspiration), which is why you measure at rest with the forehead clear. If a fever persists or you are in doubt, ask your doctor for advice.

For a good measurement
- Clear the forehead: no hair, no hat, no perspiration.
- Hold the thermometer 3-5 cm away, facing the centre of the forehead, and press once.
- If the person has just come in from the cold or from somewhere very warm, wait a few minutes at room temperature before measuring.
- If in doubt, measure again; for any question about a reading, ask your doctor for advice.
